We protect the privacy of our members. That is why you can't see much without joining.

We have protected the site with special features to defeat registration by program robots and constantly monitor security releases and updates. We've setup just enough features for you to connect to people you know without giving too much information!

Someone recently asked me how we are different from sites like facebook or LinkedIn here are just a few examples:
• we will not sell, share or give away personal information
• you own your data and the content you create, we will not claim any right to it, only reserve the right to keep it available for those you intended to share it with in groups you elected to join.
• we do intend to make enough money to support this site and it's further enhancement, but we will not charge our users any fees, the site will remain free to all our users
• we play fair by NOT giving you ultimatums or forcing you to agree to unreasonable use or licensing agreements in order to use our site or it's services.

Don't get us wrong, we like facebook, LinkedIn, and others, they are great websites and we participate there as well, but don't just blindly accept that your privacy is protected. We just don't happen think their terms of use and privacy policies are fair. But don't believe us, look at the Facebook Terms of Service or really read and understand what the LinkedIn Terms of Service say, then look at ours.
